The company started trade of auto parts and accessories in 1993, as the auto parts department of UAB „Alterna“. In 2005 when the activities and sales expanded UAB „Alterna“ daughter company UAB „Alterna auto“ was created. The company continued the trade of auto parts and accessories.

UAB „Alterna auto“ provides more than 10000 names of quality products for European and Japanese automobiles. The company represents worldwide popular trademarks. UAB “Alterna auto” provides widest range of Gates belts, Ferodo brake pads, Champion plugs, filters, wipers, Motul oil, SKF bearings, QH transmission and chassis parts, Moog chassis parts, Holts, Aspo and Kemetyl auto chemicals and technical liquids.

Company supplies goods for networks of gas stations, supermarkets, specialized shops and car repair services. Products can be delivered to the customer in any place of Lithuania. Flexible discount system for clients is applied. 

For trucks and buses UAB “alterna auto” can offer wide range of belts, wipers, light-bulbs, various technical liquids.

For the owners of motorcycles and scooters company offers Ferodo brake pads, Motul oil, Champion plugs, fuel and air filters.

Also offers the accessories of different manufacturers, parts for Land Rovers. 

In 2006 the E-shop was installed, it helps clients to plan, make and observe orders, see product availability in stock.

In 2007 UAB "Alterna auto" settled in new premises in Švitrigailos str. 31 in Vilnius, Where also the retail shop was opened.
